Firealpaca wont let me draw9/22/2023 ![]() Please make sure to make “new color layer” or just “new layer” instead of those two. The first button at the bottom of that window is a blank “page” icon though - that is the default layer you usually start the file with. At the bottom of the layer window, they are marked by a 8 and 1, respectively. When you see it in the layer window, In the corner of that layer it should have a black little square with a tiny number on its side to show you that it’s a different kind of layer. Hi! it sounds like you have made a 8-bit or 1-bit layer. Then I want to paint the inside but the color just stays black no matter what color I change to or what layer I paint on. I mean, I make the first layer with the skatch and then on other layer I go over it with the pen brush. Im new at firealpaca and I just cant understand how to use colors. You might need to get used to the slightly different control scheme, and the only thing it doesn't have from FireAlpaca is animation as far as I can tell.Hey!! I need your help so bad, I cant find a solution to my problem. Like I said if you've used FireAlpaca then you've basically used that one, and it's also free. If anything, you could give Medibang a try. I do remember having more problems in FireAlpaca for sure, which was the original reason I switched to Medibang (I now use Krita though, much better overall). If there are settings like that in FireAlpaca try that. After messing around with them eventually the problem went away. There are options to turn on/off native OS pen pressure detection, 'Use tablet and mouse at the same time', 'Ignore tablet event' and 'Check if there is a problem with HUION Tablet'. My tablet would just give up and switch to mouse only, so technically I could still draw. ![]() Well in Medibang Paint Pro(which is basically the exact same program but very frequently updated, test it I'm not kidding) I ran into a similar issue, but not quite the same one. Drawpile is great and all but it's not too great with brush variations. Also, please don't comment with a 'I have the same problem' Not being mean, but once one person puts it then everyone does and then the question never gets answered and I really need an answer/ fix pronto. On the right layer plus it is turned on.Įdit: So apparently the brush only wants to work if the size setting is over 150. ![]() ![]() ![]() Checked to see if I had the paintbrush instead of the eraser or any other tool. Here are all the solutions I have tried: Uninstalling firealpaca and reinstalling it. So I was thinking it might be my tablet but when I try to draw with a mouse it still doesn't work at all. I also tried drawing on other programs like gimp and while I can't draw perfect circles without it glitching and making a straight line before curving, I can still draw without it chopping or not drawing. I'll drag everywhere and there will be no lines popping up or it'll draw very short and random lines then cut out again. I've been using firealpaca to draw for the longest time (mostly because it is easy to use) and for about a day I was using my new tablet to draw on it when all of a sudden it just stopped working. ![]()
